In honour of Harry’s Birthday today I thought it’s time I do a character focus on the Chosen One. So where to begin. I have lots of feeling but let’s start off with the reason this title is “The Boy Who Was Forgotten”
My favourite thing about Harry Potter is by far the magical creatures. From unicorns to mermaids to dragons I love mythical creatures. Pixies and fairies and centaurs. I love all the creatures that JK included in the world of Harry Potter. So today I thought it would be fun to talk about some of my favourites!
It seems like everyone has an option on what houses are better than others. Which houses have better qualities, which houses would be the worst to be in. Well, today I want to spread some House Positivity.
I've never really been an audiobook person. I love the feel of a real book. Feeling the pages turn in my hand. The smell of the paper. The feeling and the sound of the binding stretching in my hands as I turn the pages. I love books. But I've had little time to read recently. And I've been dying to re-read Harry Potter. So I caved and signed up for audible and got 2 free books.
There are characters in every story that get overlooked or aren't showed all the love they deserve. And Harry Potter is no exception. I'm also a big believer that there are some characters that get too much love but I'll save that for another post. That one might get shouty. Anyway today I wanted to give some love to these characters who I care about and the fandom seems to push aside.

I finally got to watch Game of Thrones in January and I have fallen madly in love with Jon Snow. I love him so much it hurts and makes me a bit angry if I'm being honest. Like when you love something so much you want to squeeze it to death or punch a wall.
I've said before that I have a thing for villains. I don't know what it is about them I just love a well written bad guy. I think J was my first villain love. He's insane, has an amazing sense of style, a beautiful lady on his arm and no regard for anyone but himself and Harley Quinn. He's a villain that most find easy to hate but I find him just that much easier to love!

But when it came to being sorted on Pottermore I was worried and I kept putting it off for so long. After I finally broke down and took the Pottermore quiz. I was delighted to get Slytherin. I never have been one for haunted houses or scare experiences. They just don't get me. They can't hurt you. They just jump out at you. The danger isn't real and the jump scares are easy to spot.
Horror games on the other hand, it feels real. If you mess up you'll kill the character. It has a sense of realness. The adrenaline pumps like crazy. They might chase you in a haunted house but they aren't going to hurt you when they catch you. In a game, you're dead if you get caught.
