As far as I'm concerned it is already fall. So it's time for me to get started on my fall bucket list for this year. I love having seasonal bucket lists. I said this in 2017 but they really do help me enjoy the season to the fullest. And since Autumn is my favourite season I make one every year. So let's kick off Autumn 2019, shall we?

My Halloween Party Playlist

From about August 1st until midnight on Halloween night I have a handful of Halloween and spoopy songs I listen to on a loop. I call it my Halloween Mix. Though I've never been to or thrown a Halloween Party. It's more of a dance party of one. But that doesn't matter. I love dancing to Halloweenie music. These are my favourites to dance to.

What I love about the Halloween Season

 

When I was a kid my parents decorated the house for many of the holidays. Easter had some Egg and bunny decals and plastic wall pieces. Valentine's Day had some heart decorations. Halloween and Christmas, on the other hand, went all out. For Halloween, we had rubber bats that hung from doorways. Wall decorations everywhere. There were peelable glass decals that went on the windows and on the fish tanks. The candle lights we always had in out window got changed for Halloween ones. We had classic jack 'o' lantern trick-or-treat buckets everywhere in an array of colours. We had fake spiders and webs.

This year I have been loving these A-Z posts. It's so fun to come up with something for every letter. Having a Halloween theme and really got me into the spooky spirit! I love Halloween and this style post is perfect to get me excited for the season! Here's my A-Z of Halloween!

The Halloween Tag 2

"This is Halloween! This is Halloween! Pumpkins scream in the dead of night!" That song has been on a constant loop in my brain since September 1st. Halloween is right on par with Christmas for my favourite time of the year. I did a Halloween Tag a couple years ago and I thought it'd be fun to do another one. I am Proud to Be a Slytherin

If all of my Harry Potter posts this year haven't been proof enough I am obsessed with Harry Potter! But when it came to being sorted on Pottermore I was worried and I kept putting it off for so long. After I finally broke down and took the Pottermore quiz. I was delighted to get Slytherin. We are labeled as the bad house and the evil house but I am proud to be Slytherin.

My Favorite Horror Games

I never have been one for haunted houses or scare experiences. They just don't get me. They can't hurt you. They just jump out at you. The danger isn't real and the jump scares are easy to spot. 

Horror games on the other hand, it feels real. If you mess up you'll kill the character. It has a sense of realness. The adrenaline pumps like crazy. They might chase you in a haunted house but they aren't going to hurt you when they catch you. In a game, you're dead if you get caught.

The Harry Potter TAG

I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan! I watch the films at least 3 times a year and I have so many HP shirts and jumpers. I am dying to go to the Wizarding World! I need to go!

Anyway as a lover of Harry Potter I thought it would be fun to do the Harry Potter Tag today! As it is Harry Potter's 37th Birthday today. And this year marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone book's release!

My Pottermore Results | My Wand, My House, My Patronus

So in honor of the 20th anniversary and Harry's birth month I've finally caved in a joined Pottermore to be sorted. I kept putting it off because like any wizard kid going to Hogwarts I was worried about my house.

I will not lie as I was taking the test I kept saying "Anything but Hufflepuff." There isn't anything wrong with Hufflepuff I just feel that I really don't fit in that house.

I took the quizzes in order of how you would be present them had you really been going to Hogwarts. Get your Wand from Ollivander's, then be sorted into your house, then learn to cast a Patronus.

Not to long ago I did a post about my unpopular geek opinions. This is kind of similar. People in geek communities get so offended if you say you have never seen something or read something.

My Unpopular Geek Opinions

Life is full of opinions. A lot of people form very strong opinions on things. Most of the time opinions that people feel strongly about have 2 sides and one is usually more popular than the other.

The geek world has many debates and everyone always feels strongly about their opinions. So speaking your mind with an unpopular opinion in the geek community can be a little scary. A lot of people defend opinions about geeky stuff like you are trying to kill them.

The Halloween TAG

I love Halloween! It’s been tied with Christmas for my favorite holiday since I was a kid. I just love all the dark and creepy things. I love looking at all the Halloween decorations people put in their yard. I really love when people go all out.

I’m so excited for Halloween this year! I just had to do this tag! Since my sister is the one who introduced me to my love of Halloween I have to tag her. She will be doing this tag on her YouTubeChannel.
