My 2017 Beauty Favorites

Day 12 of the new year. I'm not late to this at all! I debated on not doing it this year but I asked you guys on twitter and you said you wanted it. You also said you wanted the beauty and lifestyle favorites as 2 posts. So the lifestyle post will be up later.

I'm going to be talking about all the beauty products I loved in 2017. A lot of them didn't come out in 2017. Most have been out forever. I just want to share all the beauty products I loved through the year! Old and new!



MAKEUP


Benefit Porefessional Primer

This primer makes my face feel so smooth and soft! I noticed a huge difference in oil control with this primer! My foundation looks so much nicer now!





Tarte Hybrid Gel Foundation

I got this foundation from my sister for Christmas and I immediately fell in love with it. It has great coverage and it feels so light. I couldn't believe how light it was.






Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation

Another foundation with really nice coverage. It's great on my t-zone! I can get oily and this foundation has done a really good job of keeping that under control.






Maybelline Superstay BetterSkin Powder

Influenster sent me this powder when it came out and I really like it. It applies nicely and doesn't cake. I got the lightest shade possible and it matches pretty well. It sets my foundation well and takes away all the dewiness. I love a matte finish and this powder does it really nice!






Urban Decay Vice Lipstick + 24/7 Glide-on Liner in Blackmail

I love this shade! I got the lipstick and liner in a duo and adore them both. I really love Urban Decay lip products. I love this purple berry. It's described as a deepened cherry. I love a good berry! The lipstick finish is a comfort matte. It is nice and soft and isn't drying. The liner isn't drying either. I love them both!






Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick in 107

I have loved this lipstick for the longest time. I think I got my first one in 2014. I love the shade! It's a perfect middle line between berry and red!





Lorac Pro Matte Lip Color in Mulberry

I love to wear this lip color as a full lip liner under 107! This lip color is a little to dry so it needs a lipstick over it. I love the color Mulberry and 107 create together!






MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo

This is my go-to classic red lipstick. It will always be a favorite! I love the finish and it isn't a dry matte. I love the bright classic red! I didn't wear it all that much this year, I was all about the berries. But I did wear it a bit last January.






Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

This is my favorite mascara out of every mascara that I own. I love the brush. And I love that the formula isn't super thick. It doesn't weight down my lashes or stiffen them up.





Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Liner

I love this liner! It glides on and stays put! Once it's in place it isn't going anywhere. And I always have some left over when I take off my makeup so it will stay through just about anything if my face wash can't get it off.





Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

I started using the medium brown shades in this palette to do my brows and it has been doing amazing! I love the way it looks! I also use this palette to do my eyes occasionally but I mostly used the Loarc Pro To Go Palette.





Lorac Pro To Go Palette

Speaking of this lovely palette I have been using it non-stop. I love to use the shadow shades Cafe and Chai for my eyes. It's really been the only thing I've been putting on my eyes. Even though I luge this palette everywhere I rarely use the blush and bronzer. I always have some other brand I want to use.





Tarte Amazon Clay 12 Hour Blush in Paaarty

This was one of the Sephora B-day Gifts for 2017. It was an exclusive shade for the Sephora rewards members. I fell in love with it! I immediately started using it and haven't stopped. 





Benefit Original Hoola Matte Bronzer

I love this bronzer! It was the first bronzer I've tried that wasn't orange-toned. I hate orange-toned, so this was perfect. It was all I wore for the longest time. Now I try to switch out my bronzers from time to time.





Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Bronzed

I love this bronzer. It is soft and velvety and it isn't orange-toned! It goes on beautifully and wears all day! I always keep it in my makeup bag! It's my go to because it blends out and builds up easily! So it's easy to use for any look.








MAKEUP BRUSHES + TOOLS


Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

I haven't used a brush for my foundation since trying the Miracle Sponge. I love using a sponge for my foundation! I love how smooth my foundation looks with this sponge!





Real Techniques Miracle Eraser

I love this little guy! It pulls away liner and mascara mistakes like it's nothing!





Real Techniques Powder Brush

I adore this brush! It is so big and fluffy! It is perfect powder brush! I love how it applies powder! It loves how big it is. I can powder my whole face in about 3 strokes.





SPI Brushes

SPI sent me a set of their brushes and I really like them! They are really soft and apply product really nicely. I like the shadow brushes the best. I use them the most. You can never have enough shadow brushes!









SKINCARE


Origins By All Greens Foaming Cleanser

Origins sent me this cleanser and I fell in love with it. My face feels so nice after I wash my face! I use it as my daily cleanser and I love it!








NAILS


Sinful Colors Nail Color

Influenster sent me a box with a Sinful Color polish in it and I fell in love with the brand shortly after that. I have 8 colors from them now and I love it! The black is my favorite black ever!




Holo Polish

Thanks to Cristine of Simply Nailogical I have fallen in love with holo nails! I love the rainbows! I really want to get some of Cristine's nail polishes in 2018!





Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips

I have used these before in 2016 and loved them! I bought some toward the end of 2016 but my nails kept breaking and I didn't want to use them on short nails. I finally used them again in November and I love them so much! I need to get them again! They are such a quick and easy manicure! Plus they are real nail polish.





Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Base and Top Coat

I have a love hate relationship with this polish. It takes a hot minute to dry and you need to let your polish dry about 2+ hours before applying this top coat but it hards so nicely and extends wear time like crazy. Essie polish chips in about 2-3 days for me and it's last 8 with Sally B+T. 





Sally Hansen Matte Top Coat

I love doing matte nails! This top coat becomes so hard. It's crazy. It makes me want to try the glossy coat from this line.
