Benefit Cosmetics Dew the Hoola Liquid Bronzer | Review

February 26, 2016

Benefit Dew the Hoola Liquid Bronzer

Benefit says this bronzer has a soft-matte finish and blends seamlessly. It's promised to give a shimmerless, sheer, natural look.

"This liquid bronzer gives your face a year-round glow without the gleam. The smoothing effects and lightweight texture melt in for a shimmerless, natural look that’s so sheer, it’ll have you saying hoola-la!"

The Beauty Confessions TAG

February 22, 2016

Hey everyone! Since I was gone for 2 weeks I decided to upload a few post closer together than normal to catch up.
The Beauty Confessions tag is another tag that I have written. It consists of 7 questions that all have to do with confessing something in beauty.
As always the questions will be in the comments. I’d love to know your answers!
Let’s get started.

I Heart Drugstore Makeup TAG

February 19, 2016

Today I decided to do another beauty tag blast from the past. The I Heart Drugstore Makeup TAG! Which is a completely true statement.
I know that everyone did this like 2 years ago but it seems like such a fun tag. I’m going to tag the only other person I know that hasn’t done this, my sister.
I’d love to know what your answers are! You can find a copy of the questions in the comments below.

So let’s get started!

Monthly Favorites | January 2016

February 04, 2016

So it’s time again for monthly favorites! I can’t believe I’m already doing my first favorites for 2016! Wasn’t it Christmas yesterday?
I spent most of January sick so there aren’t many favorites this month.

Would You Rather - Beauty Edition

January 29, 2016

Today I thought it would be fun to do a would you rather. Of course it’s going to be a beauty edition. I came up with a few questions. I found most of them from different beauty would you rather posts all over the place.
Would you rather isn’t really a tag but I am going to “tag” my sister? You can find her YouTube Channel here. And I’d love to hear your answers in the comments below.
So let’s get started.

Beauty Tips & Tricks - Part 3

January 20, 2016

It’s time for another Beauty Tips & Tricks. I’ve done 2 before this. You can find them here. Today I’ve got a few more tips to share. Keep in might that these are just tips to help with makeup and other beauty things.
So let’s get started!

1.) Perfect Match Concealer

Try to find a concealer that matches you skin to near perfect. If you’re in a hurry you can just pop some concealer under your, on any spots, and on your eye lids and then you’re out the door. I always put concealer on my lids if I’m not doing shadow to make me look more awake.

My Top 10 Makeup Brushes & Makeup Brush Kits Under $20

January 13, 2016

Today’s post has been a long time coming. I love to do lists of my top 10s and I’ve been wanting to do this one since my top 10 makeup products under $10. I’ve also done a post on my top 10 lip products under 10.  So now I’d thought I’d do one on my top 10 makeup brushes.

The first two were Top 10 under $10, but since makeup brushes tend to cost more, even for the drugstore brands, I decided to make this on Under $20. Most of the brushes in this post are under $10 when you buy them separately but in this post I will be talking about 5 of the kits some of my favorite brands offer. The best thing about drugstore brand brushes is that, yes the kits might be almost $20, but that’s for a set of 4 or more.
I love buying brush kits. You get 4-5 amazing brushes for less than one high-end brush. Just because the price is lower doesn’t mean the product is cheaply made or that they aren’t of great quality. Makeup brushes are one of my favorite things at the drugstore because of how much you get for your buck and how we'll make most of them are.
I’m not doing this one in a countdown or anything. These brushes will be listed in no particular order. I love all these brushes for different reasons. I just couldn’t organize them into a numbered list so I’m going to just write them out and tell you why I love them.

Monthly Favorites | December 2015

January 07, 2016

I can’t believe it’s January 2016! 2015 flew by! It seems like I started this blog yesterday. It will be a year in April. I planned on doing a new year’s post on the first but I got a plague on the 21st of December so the last 2 weeks haven’t been very productive.

I'm so happy to finally be writing again and can’t wait to have my first full year of writing this blog. I can’t wait to see where it goes over the next year.

Anyway on to my December Favorites. There are only 2 beauty favorites this month. I just didn’t really try any new products. There aren’t too many favorites in general but I wanted to share with I loved this month with all of you!

So let’s get started.

Merry Christmas!

December 25, 2015

I can’t believe this is my last post of the year. How fitting that it is my 50th post. I really love that I’m wrapping up the year with my 50th. And that the first post I’m writing on my new computer is my 50th.
Back to it being Christmas day. I’ll be spending the day with my family. This is my first time I’ll be with my niece and nephew on Christmas Day. I’m so excited to see them tonight!

I’m going to keep this one short. I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope you have a happy and safe holiday. And if you don’t celebrate it then I hope you have a great day. And I hope you all have happy new year. And may your 2016 be awesome.

Merry Christmas Everyone! See you in January!

My Top 10 Lippies for Christmas - Blogmas Day 6

December 16, 2015

Hello everyone and welcome to Blogmas day 6! If you’ve been on my blog for a little while then you know I’m all about lippies and I just couldn’t let the festive season go by without doing a post all about my favorite lippies for Christmas. Classic red is probably my favorite lip shade. I love red lips so much!
I decided to come up with 10 of the best Christmas reds. These lippies are a mix of drugstore and high-end brands. These are some of my favorite lippies all year around but they are just perfect for Christmas. Since they are shades for Christmas they are going to be similar. Most of them are classic reds. I just have so many for the different formulas.

My Christmas Essentials - Blogmas Day 5

December 14, 2015

Welcome to Blogmas Day 5. Day 5 was going to go up yesterday but I was a way from the internet so I had to wait until today to upload. I was going to do DIY cards today but the designs I was going to do just didn’t work.

So I decided to do My Christmas Essentials. Kind of a mix between What’s in My Christmas Makeup Bag and My Must Haves to Survive the Christmas Season. I love this idea and I’m much more excited to do this post instead of cards. I hope you all enjoy.

The Holly Jolly TAG - Blogmas Day 4

December 10, 2015

I can't believe it's Blogmas day 4 already! December is going by so fast! For my Blogmas post today I decided to do the Holly Jolly TAG. I just love all of these Christmassy tags! They make me feel so festive!

I took out a few questions to make it a little smaller. And so there weren’t any double questions with the other Christmas tags I’ve done this year. A few questions from the original version of this tag were very similar to other questions in the other tags.

I’m tagging my sister who you can find on her YouTube channel. She’s doing 25 days of Christmas crafts so you can check that out too. I’m also tagging all of you. Let me know you answers in the comments below.

So let’s get into these Christmassy questions.

DIY Christmas Ornaments - Blogmas Day 3

December 07, 2015

My mom used to always set up Christmas crafts for us to do. I’ve made ornaments from the tin off of coffee cans and butter tub lids. We used to make snowmen out of paper plates and cotton balls. My mom always had something for us kids to do.

Making some ornaments for my tree this year brought back a lot of memories. I made quite a few different styles and I thought today I’d share a few of them with you.
