I love all of the Top 10 Under $10 videos on YouTube. Everyone loves inexpensive makeup that is great quality. I have made my own list as I love makeup and these products are among my all time. I wanted to share them with you. These products are great for a first time makeup bag or a great addition to a growing collection. I love these products and brands. They are amazing. I’ve made the list in order of how I apply my makeup just for an extra tip. Now to the reviews.

1.) Foundation/BB & CC Cream: Rimmel London 9-in-1 BB Cream

I love love love this BB cream. It has really great coverage, SPF 30 and doesn’t look orange. I wish it came in more colors, the light matches me perfectly but there are only three colors and other people may not be able to find a match as easily. This BB cream has amazing coverage and looks like natural skin. It isn’t heavy or cakey. I use this as my foundation all the time and always love the way it looks. I wore it on the 4th of July and the heat peaked at 95 or so and I didn’t have any movement of my makeup. My makeup looked like I just did all day and even after the fireworks.

1.2 Maybelline Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream (Sorry I forgot to include this one in the photo.)
I decided to include two products in this category because this Maybelline one is also amazing and they have more colors. This BB cream also has great coverage and great hold. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin or feel like it’s clogging my pores. I wore this one to an outside birthday party in August. It was 95 again and it was a party of little kids so I was running around a lot and my makeup didn’t budge. This BB cream has 5 colors instead of 3 and has 2 for dark tones, and the coverage is great. The texture of this one is a bit more like a foundation so I would recommend applying it with a brush. And give the bottle a good shake before you apply it.

2.) Concealer: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
I love this concealer. You do have to apply a bit of it to cover dark circles, or maybe mine are just really dark. Anyway it has great coverage. You can apply it over or under you foundation and it looks great. I was wearing it on both the 95 degree days above and it held up great. I didn’t feel it move at all. Before I started using matte white eye shadow as highlighter I would run this down the bridge of my nose too. This is a brightening concealer so it kind of doubles as a highlighter. This concealer doesn’t feel heavy on the skin or feel like it is soaking into my pores. I love it!

3.) Pressed Powder/Face Powder: NYX Blotting Powder
First thing about this powder is that it’s matte. You would be surprised at how many setting powders have shimmer or glitter in them. I am really not a shimmer or glitter person. Anyway this powder is great! It’s powdery without being chalky. It’s not cakey, as long as you don’t over apply it. It covers shine amazingly. It has really great coverage, that’s with a foundation/BB cream under it. It’s creates a beautiful flawless matte look when applied all over the face, which is what I pretty much do 100% of the time. (Technically this is $11.99 not $10 or under but it’s a great powder.)

4.) Bronzer: NYX Matte Bronzer
I don’t know why anyone would want shimmer in their bronzer but it’s out there. As I’ve said before I am a matte person. I seriously don’t have any makeup with shimmer or glitter in it. I love that NYX put matte in the name. I love this bronzer. It’s matte. It isn’t orange. It is a nice brown shade that looks like a really nice tan. It also doesn’t make it look like there is dirt on your face. It is powdery but no chalky. It blends out well if you apply to much in one spot, which I’ve done. I am the shade light, or fair in some brands, and I got the medium. It isn’t too dark for me, and it blends out really well. I really love this bronzer. It adds a health glow to your face along with the contouring. I use it everywhere that you put bronzer and it looks great.

5.) Blush: NYX Powder Blush
I love this blush! It comes in some great matte colors! It isn’t chalky. I have the shades Peach, warm pink, and Cinnamon, a bright corally orange. They are both very wearable when applied. Cinnamon seams really bright and not wearable but it applies like a warm coral color that actually looks very natural, Peach is also very natural. Cinnamon is a warmer summer natural and Peach and a cool winter natural. I love both shades and I love this blush! A little goes a long way with this blush. I put the main bit on my cheek and then blend it out backwards. This blush is the best at the drugstore. (And the only matte on I’ve found.)

6.) Eyebrow Product: NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder
The brows are the one thing I can’t leave the house without doing. I have to do my brows before I go anyway. And since the day I got it I have used NYX eyebrow cake powder. I haven’t used anything else since. It isn’t chalky or obviously powder. I love that one side is red and the other is almost brown because I dye my hair red so as my roots grow out and the dye fade my hair goes back to my natural light brown color so I can use the brown one in the set. I also mix them at times and it looks great. The powders are amazing! I don’t use the gel/wax at all I just use the powder because I love the look it gives. And the brushes it comes with can go in the garbage as soon as you get them. They are hard and scratchy and just not good. Only reason I still have mine is for reviews. I love the powder, can’t comment on the wax, and the brushes are complete rubbish.

7.) Eye Shadow: NYX Eye Shadow Singles (Hot Singles & Nude Mattes)
I love these eye shadow singles. There are so many colors. And a lot quite a few are matte! These shadows are soft and smooth but are still a powder. Even though there are two different lines the matte ones in the Hot Singles line are the same as the nude matte. Same look and feel. Same shadows. I love them. There are some great matte brights in the Hot Singles line. There is a medium-dark brown shade called Betrayal and it is a perfect dupe for Lorac Espresso. And like I mentioned in the concealer part of this post I use matte eye shadow as a highlighter. I use the shade I Have a Headache, a white based nude, from the Nude matte collection. It is an extremely light skin color and is a great highlighter for my light skin tone. Since I’m so light I also you the shade Whipped Cream, a white, from the Hot Singles line. It’s pure white and works great as a highlighter if you are really pale. Two products for the price of one.

8.) Eyeliner: Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Liner
I love this liner. It is smooth and goes on easily. It’s doesn’t jump or tug on the lid. It is amazing for tight lining. I love the black and the nude color. The nude shade doubles as concealer if you have light skin. Plus nude looks amazing on the water line. It will smudge if you want it to for a smokey eye but it only smudges if you do it with your finger or a brush, it won’t smudge on its own. After it dries it isn’t going anywhere.  This is a great liner and comes in some great colors.

9.) Mascara: CoverGirl Lash Bloom Mascara
I have never been much of a mascara person. I wear glass and have somewhat long lashes so when I applied mascara it would stiffen my lashes and they would push on my glasses. Ever since I started using makeup when I was 13, little bit of blush a little eyeliner and mascara stage, I said I didn’t really like mascara and wished there was a mascara that didn’t harden my lashes and push on my glasses. And now Cover Girl has finally answered my payers. I was so excited to try this as soon as I saw the commercial. I have to admit I got my hope up. And I wasn’t disappointed. This mascara made my lashes darker but they stayed soft and looked natural. I was instantly obsessed. I still don’t wear mascara every time I do my makeup but I wear it more now. I love this mascara and it does what it’s advertised to do. I’m not a big fan for rubber brushes but this one is actually pretty good. The “hairs” are really short which I personally feel gives more control and separates and coats the lashes better. I didn’t have any clumps, or stuck together lashes. I love this mascara!

10.) Lips: Rimmel London Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick
I love this lipstick. Words cannot express how much I love this lipstick. It is amazing. It is soft and creamy. It has a matte finish which I love. It’s not drying to the lip and after you let it set for a minute or two it doesn’t have any transfer to food or drinks. I wore this on the 4th of July in 95 degree heat and it stayed put. I did a top up about half way through the day a little while after lunch and then that lasted past the fireworks. This lipstick is amazing. My favorite shade is 107 followed by 109. 107 is a deep deep red, and 109 is an orangey based coral. I have almost every color and love them all.

10.2) NYX Matte Lipstick (Sorry I forgot to include this one in the photo)
I love this lipstick too. This one has a bigger color range than Rimmel which I like. This one is a lot like Rimmel. It is smooth and doesn’t dry out the lip. I have found that this one still has a little transfer no matter how long you let it set. Which is a bit disappointing. But it is still a great lipstick and I love all the colors.

Bonus – Brushes: e.l.f. Studio Brushes
I love the e.l.f. studio brushes. They are the $3 black handled ones. These are the good ones. The white ones suck. Anyway the studio brushes are amazing! They are 100% synthetic but crazy soft! My sister thought they were rabbit hair. They are amazing quality. Especially for $3! I love these brushes. They are so soft and apply product beautifully. Most sets of Eco Tools and Real Techniques (amazing brands!) are $17 - $20 and there are only 4 or 5 brushes in them. Target actually sells a set of 11 e.l.f. studio brushes for $30 which is amazing! Love these brushes!

Whew. That was longer than I thought it was going to be. I hope it isn’t too long. I really love these products and wanted to share them with the world. Other that the Rimmel Lipstick I don’t hear much about these other products. I love them and know that they deserve more hype. I hope you all love these products as much as I do.
