2018 was a bit of a rough year for me. I found it really hard to find the want to write. Even when I had something I wanted to write I just couldn't muster up enough energy to do it. Finding a balance has been a big problem for me in 2018. I opened my Etsy shop and my blog kind of took a back burner.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! How was your New Years? I stayed in, painted my nails and pretty much silently watched the ball drop on TV. I'm not one for big parties or going out. I liked sitting a home painting my nails and editing photos.

Taking A Step Back

Until the last week of July I uploaded a post every other day in 2017. I loved it but I became to much. I really love creating the content that I've made so far this year but the pressure to upload every other day was too much. 

25 Little Things

Life moves by so fast and sometime we don't stop to enjoy all the little parts of our lives. So inspired by Columbus's Rule #32 in Zombieland I've recently decided to enjoying the little things.

I decided to make a list of the little things that make me happy. And enjoy them more. Take time to let them make me happy.

2017 Goals - 6 Month Check-in

I can't beleive that year is half over! I swear the older I get the faster they go by. In January I uploaded my 2017 Goals. In that post I set 5 goals for my blog and myself in 2017.

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY ZombieGoddess Beauty!! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for 2 years! It doesn't seem like that long ago. I can't believe what a different person I am now. It is so surprising at how much someone can change in just two years.

I am so happy that I am still blogging! I hit a bit of a slump last year and didn't feel like writing at all. Whereas this year I'm writing more than ever and I've been uploading every other day and everyday this month!

Everyone has been talking about dupes lately. I really love reading people's sides on this debate and I wanted to share my thoughts.

A lot of you are probably tired of hearing about this and you are probably ready for this topic to die. But for those of you that are still interested or are new to the debate let's talk about the future of dupes and if companies are taking it too far.

A Few Little Rants | I'm NOT a Mom Blogger | Also ft rants about Improper Grammar & Bought Followers

Ok so the title of this post may seem a bit strange. It's pretty obvious I'm not a mom blogger. I post beauty & lifestyle content. I'm 19 and have no kids. But for some reason BlogLovin' Activate thinks I'm a mom blogger. (I'm not saying that you can't have kids at 19 it's just that most 19 year old bloggers aren't mom bloggers.)

Recently I've also had some issues with how people use social media and I'm a huge grammar cop. I need to vent. So if you don't like rants that's ok. I'll see you next time. Come back on Tuesday. I'll be posting a new beauty review.

My Advice for New Bloggers

Let me start by saying I'm not a pro. I've only been doing this for a little over a year and a half. I barely uploaded last year. Who am I to give advice?

But in my Blogger Tag post one of the questions was about advice for new bloggers. After answering with a very long answer I realized I had a lot to say. I decided I wanted to do a full post about advice for new bloggers.

I have picked up a few things over the past year and a half and there are things I wish someone would have told me when I started.

So here are some things that I think might help you if you are a new blogger.

My 2017 Goals

I finally uploaded my 2016 favorites on Monday so today I thought I'd share with you all my goals for 2017. I was originally going to make this about blogging goals only but then I thought of a couple goals I really wanted to include.

I debated on whether or no to do this post. I thought, who would want to read my goals? Why would anyone care? But I decided to write it anyway. I decided to do it for myself. If I write out my goals and post them here I have to hold myself to them. At least a little bit. 

If I have them here I'll be more motivated to keep to them. So maybe no one will read this but I'll have these sort of like a promise to myself that I'm going to do, everything on my goals list for 2017, or at least try.

My Blog Turns 1!

Today is the one year anniversary of starting my blog! I can't believe I've been doing this for a year! It seems like I started this yesterday. I've had so much fun writing all about beauty and just anything and everything is past year and I can't wait to keep doing it! Thank you to everyone who has been reading the blog for the past year! The past year has seriously been the best of my life for so many different reasons! I have some really fun ideas for post heading into year 2! I hope you will all join me in the next year!
